Odin Seat

A terminal multiplexer with overlapping windows, an Alt-tap menu, mouse controls, images and input methods. The package and executable are both odin-seat.

Release: 0.1.0-20261015.1. All builds use the same source snapshot.

Linux packages

Choose the suite matching your operating system. The Kylin package uses the older LoongArch ABI; it is not a Debian loong64 build. These packages install the command, manuals and dictionaries, and start no background service.

Set odin_suite=resolute on Ubuntu 26.04, or odin_suite=kylin on Kylin V10 SP1:

If this repository is already configured for that suite, just update and install; no second repository entry is needed.

reMarkable 2

Download the ARMv7 package.

Built with manufacturer SDK 5.8.203 and tested on firmware 3.28.0.172. It uses the stock runtime libraries and includes dictionaries, manuals, and checksum-verifying install/uninstall scripts. Other firmware releases have not been verified.

Copy the archive to the tablet's home directory, then run there:

The -m option uses strict black-and-white rendering for e-paper. The installer uses the user's private data directory and leaves stock system libraries alone.

Verification

All three Linux builds and the reMarkable build passed all nine unit suites and the path, session, pointer, and end-to-end PTY regressions. Each Linux package was downloaded through fresh signed public APT metadata, checked against its build checksum, extracted and exercised on its target. The public reMarkable archive passed a fresh installer runtime check on the tablet. These deployment checks used isolated directories; system package state was unchanged.

Signed package catalog, catalog signature, and build and public-download verification list each artifact and checksum. Native Debian source packages and build logs accompany the Linux binaries. The Kylin source includes its packaging recipe; ARM64's exact source packaging is retained with its release artifacts.

Odin Seat is Apache-2.0 licensed. Bundled input-method data retains MIT, Apache-2.0 and Unicode licenses and attribution. Source archives exclude private deployment scripts and host configuration.
